Pupils applying for Nursery & Reception will attend a playdate or submit pre-recorded videos if the pupil is overseas. For years 1 & 2, they will undergo a phonics, math, and/or writing overview to assess their current level. From year 3 onwards, pupils will sit an entry assessment, formally known as a Cat 4 assessment, and have either a taster morning and/or an interview with the Head of School. All of which are designed to assess academic readiness for the entry year to which your child is applying.

3.00 pm with an optional earlier pick up for Nursery & Reception pupils at 1:00 pm

All classrooms are equipped with smart boards. Students use iPads and laptops.

We offer over 250 extra activities, ensuring there's something for every pupil to engage in. From sports to arts, music to STEM, our diverse range of activities fosters personal growth, teamwork, and creativity, extending learning far beyond the classroom.

Swimming, rugby, football, netball, basketball, tennis, volleyball, rowing, sailing, and other watersports are offered, as we have our very own boat house.

Yes, our school employs specialised staff who hold qualifications in special education needs. The staff are dedicated to supporting children with special learning needs through specialised programmes and individualised support.

We offer a range of support services tailored to meet the needs of students with special learning needs. These include: IEPs: Each student with special learning needs has a customised IEP developed in collaboration with teachers, parents, and specialists. These plans outline specific learning goals, accommodations, and strategies to support academic and social development. In-class Support: Our specialised staff work closely with classroom teachers to provide additional support within the regular classroom setting. This may involve differentiated instruction, modified assignments, or one-on-one assistance during lessons. Small Group Interventions: Some students benefit from small group interventions where they can receive targeted support in specific subject areas or skill development. Counselling and Emotional Support: Our team recognises the importance of addressing the social and emotional well-being of students with special learning needs. We offer counselling services and social skills training to help students build confidence, self-esteem, and resilience. Parent and Family Involvement: We actively involve parents and families in the support process, providing regular communication, progress updates, and resources to support learning at home.
