AUPP Liger Leadership Academy

Our school day starts at 8 am and ends at 5 pm four days a week. Our academic days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays, and Fridays. Our Wednesday schedule gets students outside of the classroom for a mixture of creative arts and athletic activities.

We are a residential school operating 7 days a week. Students have the option of boarding 7 days a week if they live outside of Phnom Penh. Students from Phnom Penh can choose to enroll as day students or Monday to Friday boarders.

Technology is integrated into all course subjects. For example, math, English, etc. It is also taught as a standalone subject at every grade level.

AUPP Liger is a member of the PPAC8 international school sports organization, therefore, we compete against 7 other reputable international schools in the following sports: football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, track and field, and badminton. We have coaches and facilities to support this focus on athletics for both girls and boys. In addition, we offer our creative Wednesday program every week where students can practice their PPAC8 sports, play other sports for recreation such as swimming, frisbee, cycling, running, yoga, as well as a host of other creative, musical, artistic endeavors.

All teachers in the language departments are native speakers of the language they teach, whether that's Khmer or English.

No, however, we provide two teachers per class so that there is always someone there for language support.

We interview every student and family who applies to Liger to ensure that we have the capacity to support demonstrated student needs.

With two teachers in every classroom, we have ample opportunity for small group work, including repetition and review. If students have a specific diagnosis, we can implement the recommended accommodations that are suggested for their disability. Additionally, we have two full-time counseling staff.

Because our curriculum is so open-ended and flexible, as well as experiential and hands-on, there are endless opportunities to extend students who are talented and passionate.

Yes, we have two full-time staff in the counseling department as well as close ties with several external providers in case more serious intervention is required.
