KIBS does not require students to take an exam. KIBS believes it is important to meet your child and get to know him/her. Your child may be invited for a trial day to see how he/she interact within the group. Important for us is to ensure that the child feels comfortable within the group and school environment.

If the child participates in a trial day at our school, it will have the opportunity to experience the environment, which will also help the teachers recommend the most suitable class based on their language experience.
Students are accepted throughout the year if a space is available in the group.

KIBS opens at 07:30 with the first lesson starting at 09:00.

The last lesson finishes at 16:10 with the latest pick-up time at 18:15 when the daily feedback is provided to the parents.

Lunch at KIBS is optional. KIBS prepares its own food from fresh products, daily, ensuring that fruits and vegetables are part of their daily diet. A set Lunch Menu is being posted on the Parents Portal, in advance. At KIBS, we accommodate children with dietary needs such as: food allergies and vegetarians.

ICT is part of KIBS Curriculum. A personal Chromebook is provided to all primary pupils as well as a Google-Suite Education account is provided. Parents have access to their child account in real time.

Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds. We have families from over 28 nationalities including Swiss, British, American, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Romanian
For all primary pupils, sport lessons (twice per week) and swimming (once per week) are part of our Curriculum. For all kindergarten children we offer Yoga, Dance (additional fee applies) and swimming (at no extra charge).

KIBS does not have its own sport hall as part of its facilities. For all sport and swimming lessons we use our Shuttle Buses as transportation to and from the sport hall and swimming pool (10 min. distance).

Language support for students not fluent in English and German
Due to its Bilingual Concept (50% German - 50% English within one day), KIBS requires basic knowledge of one of the two in school teaching languages. Based on our experience in the last 12 years, children grow and develop in both languages equally.
