The Early Years trial class will be conducted with the homeroom teacher. Students in Grades 1 to 8 will undergo a paper-based assessment, while students in Grade 9 to Grade 12 will participate in an interview.

UIA has a stronger WIFI network across the entire campus UIA is progressively introducing BYOD for students from G6-G12. Computers and iPads are available. Each classroom is supported with an Apple TV. Kindle readers are used to accessing digital reading materials in the school library. All students from G1-G10 undertake educational technology classes as part of the curriculum. A full range of educational technology options are provided for students completing Cambridge IGCSE and A Levels.

UIA is a member of International Schools of Tokyo Athletics Association (ISTAA). The school competes in volleyball, basketball, football, futsal, badminton and cross-country. The school also has an after school swim club and judo club.

UIA has a dedicated Cambridge standard science lab, design technology lab, library, music room and art room.

We have indoor space for our physical education classes. We also conduct indoor and outdoor sports in the reserved facilities at a 5-minute walking distance from the campus. The school utilises Kiba Park and the Fukugawa sports, which are both a 5-minute walk from the school.
