Città Studi

Citta Studi is anchored by Politecnico di Milano and the University of Milan, giving it an energetic, intellectually engaged atmosphere distinct from Milan's fashion and finance districts. International students and researchers add diversity to an otherwise predominantly Italian residential area.

Parco Montanelli (Giardini Pubblici di Porta Venezia) is close by and offers walking paths, a small lake, and a natural history museum. The neighborhood has excellent cycling infrastructure and many residents commute by bike.

Citta Studi is well served by the MM2 (green line) metro, making the city center and Central Station reachable in 10-15 minutes. Multiple tram lines crisscross the neighborhood, and cycling is a preferred mode among students.

The neighborhood has a dense array of local trattorie, ethnic restaurants, and student-friendly eateries alongside fresh food markets and supermarkets. The Mercato Comunale di Via Benedetto Marcello is popular for local produce.

Milan has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers (30-35 C) and cold, foggy winters (1-5 C). Citta Studi experiences the classic Po Valley climate -- fog is common from November through February.
