Fairgreen International School

At Fairgreen International School, we have classroom sizes that differ from our Early Years to Our PYP & MYP classrooms. Pre - K at Fairgreen has a class with a maximum of 21 students. KG 1 & KG2 at Fairgreen have classes no bigger than 21 students. From Grade 1 to Grade 8 our classes are no bigger that 25 students.

On average, currently at Fairgreen International School, we have 18 students in each class.

We currently have Teaching Assistants in all of our Early Years classes, and Teaching Assistants where needed in our PYP classrooms.

Fairgreen uses smart boards, iPad and Google technology in the classrooms. We have tower gardens and aquaponics in class as part of our sustainable mission, as well as robotics, coding and design tech as part of the curriculum.

We currently have over 35+ nationalities represented at Fairgreen International School.

While we have children from all over the world, from Korea to Sweden, the two most common nationalities at Fairgreen International School are British and Dutch.

We have an international mix of teachers in our faculty at Fairgreen International School. With teachers from Australia, South Africa, America, England, the UAE, South America and Spain.

We currently offer English as an Additional Language (EAL) support at Fairgreen, and have wonderful staff to assist students who are learning English. We provide pull-out support for students at Entering and Beginning levels, and push in to classes to support students with content area instruction as well.

We currently offer our students French and Arabic as in school language classes. Over the past few years Fairgreen has had very popular Mother Tongue languages classes covering Arabic, Danish, Dutch, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Turkish with many more to be added this year. We are also launching Foreign Language Programme for those interested to learn additional languages.

Support is provided through a multi-tiered model. `At `tier 1 teachers support students through quality teaching and differentiated instruction in the classroom. `Tier 2 support involves short term targeted interventions based of classroom data. Tier 3 support is longer term pull out direct instruction based off the recommendation of an educational psychological evaluation.
