Kurze Beschreibung der erforderlichen Aufnahmeprüfung
For Pre-School and Reception:
We invite all Pre-School applicants to attend a ‘Stay & Play’ visit where they will meet the staff; this will help us and parents assess whether King’s College Riyadh is the right environment for their child, and one in which they will be happy and thrive.
For Year 2 onwards:
Children wishing to join King’s College Riyadh in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 will be invited to visit the school prior to entry, as and when places arise. They will meet a member of the Senior Leadership Team and the Learning Support Coordinator and spend time with prospective classmates. During the visit, we will seek to establish overall academic potential through predominantly skills-based, teacher-led assessments. (for children undertaking an assessment for Y2 to Y4, this will be a Rising Stars assessment. For Year 5 upwards, this will be a CAT 4)
Warteliste
There is currently a waiting list for most of our year groups. These change based on demand for school places.
Anmeldefrist (neues Schuljahr)
There is a rolling programme for registration. Our Admissions Team will be on-hand throughout all year round (including school holidays) to manage enquiries and assessments.

The main objective of the Extracurricular Activities programme is to provide all our students with a space to develop talents and skills by making a different use of their free time.
ECAs will change every term, allowing the children to sample many different areas of interest, although many popular activities run throughout each term. Registration for ECAs takes place three times a year and is organised by a dedicated ECA Coordinator. All teachers lead an ECA thus ensuring that there is a very wide range of sporting, academic and recreational activities on offer. Examples include Yoga, Invasion Games, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math's, Brownies, Origami and Zumba.
There is a lot of research that highlights the benefits of students partaking in ECAs, showing there is a strong association between student involvement in extracurricular activities and improved attendance, behaviour, and academic performance. Research shows that all students who participate in some type of extracurricular activity perform better than students who are not involved

Yes, a healthy lunch delivery service. Parents have a choice of paying for this service or sending their child to school with a healthy lunch and snack.
Ernährungsalternativen für besondere Ernährungsbedürfnisse (z. B. vegan, koscher, halal)
Our food delivery service caters for all dietary requirements. As a school we have a strict policy on children not sharing food or parents bringing in food for other pupils.
It is our intention to enable children to find, explore, analyse, exchange and present information. We also focus on developing the skills necessary for children to be able to use information in a discriminating and effective way. We want children to know more, remember more and understand more in computing so that they leave primary school computer literate. Computing skills are a major factor in enabling children to be confident, creative and independent learners and it is our intention that children have every opportunity available to allow them to achieve this.
We have built a computing curriculum that develops pupil’s learning and results in the acquisition of knowledge of the world around them that ensures all pupils can understand and apply the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science, including abstraction, logic, algorithms and data representation can analyse problems in computational terms, and have repeated practical experience of writing computer programs in order to solve such problems.
Our computing curriculum prepares pupils to live safely in an increasingly digital British/Saudi society where pupils can evaluate and apply information technology, including new or unfamiliar technologies, analytically to solve problems.
