For our PreK-KB students, teachers are on duty on the ELAC playground from 08:10am until the first bell rings at 08:25am

Yes, we currently have 3 bus routes, Rokko, Ashiya and Osaka.

Yes, we have a full cafeteria serving lunch, as well as a cafe serving light meals and drinks, all provided by Cezars Kitchen.

Yes, meals can be arranged directly with Cezars Kitchen.

Students do not wear a uniform at CA. We do have a CA PE Kit which is not obligatory.

Teacher Assistants in Early Childhood. We also have learning support assistants throughout the years.

Students have access to iPads and computers located in maker spaces, mobile mini-labs, the library, and in every classroom. CA operates a one to one laptop program for all students from Grades 3 to 12. Specialist staff support teachers in building technology into the curriculum.

20% North American, 15% European, 50% Asian (including 30% Japanese), and 15% representing the rest of the world.

CA offers a range of activities encompassing the arts, culture, technology, and student wellness, as well as a variety of sports teams and clubs. These are some of the sports we offer: Baseball, Cross Country, Soccer, Touch Rugby, Volleyball, Basketball, Gymnastics, Badminton, Softball. Here are some of the clubs we offer: AI club, Art Club, Code Club, Choir, Orchestra, Robotics, Chess, DECA, Model United Nations, Tea Ceremony, Math Club, Film Club, KEVA Planks Construction, Animal Rescue Kansai, Calligraphy, LGBTQ+, MENTI, Spanish Club, Mindfulness, Bollywood Dancing. Dance Club, Gardening Club, Key Club, Journalism Club, Save Our Seas Club, Soup Kitchen and Yearbook Club!

We offer PHE across grades, which focuses on physical and health education. We also offer a course for Grade 11 and Grade 12 students called the Science of Wellness.

We are the only Japanese school participating in APAC (Asia Pacific Athletics Conference) which include international competitions in Soccer, Softball, Touch Rugby, Cross Country as well as participation in APAC Theater, Orchestra, Band, Choir and Dance. We also participate in WJAA for sports in Secondary School and run an Annual Falcon Futsal Cup for Elementary School .

2 libraries, with our main library housing over 20 000 books, a main theater seating with a capacity for over 250 people, Black Box Theater, technology lab for ES Students, design labs, science labs, Japanese tea ceremony room, choir room and band room.

Athletic facilities include two full-size gymnasia, a fitness center with an aerobic zone, two soccer fields, two tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, and spacious playgrounds for Elementary School and Early Childhood with age-appropriate equipment. Our students also maintain a series of on-campus vegetable gardens.

As an international school, our families and teachers come from diverse backgrounds where the language that they instruct in (for example, Japanese, English, Spanish) are not always their native language. We have native Japanese and English teachers.

Additional English support is provided for those who are new or newer to English.

CA does offer a limited availability learning support program for children with mild to moderate learning needs.

A rigorous curriculum, a good range of course choices and a wide range of extra curricular opportunities. We use the Universal Design for Learning approach to curriculum to ensure that all learners are provided with meaningful, challenging learning opportunities.
