In years 4-5 we have up to 28 students per classroom and in years 6-9 we have up to 30 students per classroom.

The average number of students in each classroom is 28.

We emphasize the importance of using books and writing by hand. We have computers available for each student and use them when appropriate.

This was not a course of action taken by the Swedish government. We always adhere to the guidelines set out by The Swedish School Inspectorate and are in alignment with other primary schools in Sweden.

Physical Education is part of the curriculum for primary schools in Sweden. Our school periodically hosts House Days, activities for the student houses, and junior clubs.

All special classrooms (i.e. music, science, home economics) are located within the school. Our school has its own cafeteria, as well as a library and several study spaces for students to take a break between classes. Our physical education classes take place at Ormingehallen, a sports facility about a 2 minute walk from our school.

We have a diverse group of teachers, many of whom are native Swedish speakers.

Nordic International School follows the guidelines set by The Swedish School Inspectorate concerning support staff for students. We work closely with the Ministry of Social Services and the Ministry of Public Health to ensure that each student has good access to the support that they need.
