Students develop capability in using ICT for tasks associated with information access and management, information creation and presentation, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, creative expression and empirical reasoning. This includes conducting research, creating multimedia information products, analyzing data, designing solutions to problems, controlling processes and devices, and supporting computation while working independently and in collaboration with others.

Yes. The Australian International School accepts students with disabilities and learning difficulties and employs a psychologist, learning support teachers and a special needs teacher to support classroom teachers to provide appropriate programs for these students.
学習サポートの内容
Students are grouped by ability for literacy from prep (KG2) and learning support teaches work as part of the literacy block to provide additional assistance to students with learning difficulties. Students with disabilities are supported by our Special Needs Teacher. Each of these students has an individual learning plan.

Our school offers a Students with High Potential Program (SHIP) program in years 3-5. We identify students with gifts and talents and provide a range of targeted activities for these students. Students are also grouped by ability in literacy and Arabic from prep and in numeracy across grades 3-5. Students in the highest group in each of these subjects are extended and encouraged to work at their own rate and level.
