Entry assessment, trial day.
入学評価の簡単な説明
Primary School:
BBIS requires a trial day for all Primary applicants to assess their English, social, and academic skills. EYFS children participate in a half-day play session, while Year 1 and above join for a full day, completing tailored assessments such as reading, maths, and phonics checks. EAL learners take an additional English test. Decisions are based on trial day feedback, and students may start immediately if space allows or join a waiting list. Online assessments and parent-submitted videos may be requested for international applicants.
Secondary School:
All Secondary applicants take the CAT4 Cognitive Ability Assessment to evaluate key skills. EAL students complete an additional English test under verified conditions. Admission to MYP5 or the final Diploma Programme year is rare and considered only for exceptional cases, usually for transfers from other IB World Schools. Each applicant’s readiness is reviewed individually to ensure they can meet academic and social expectations.
