入学情報
入学時の選抜評価
CAISL does not apply any exams, interviews or any other kind of assessment during the application process. We may only need to apply an English Language Assessment for students joining High School, as we need to make sure that the students are proficient with the usage of the language, being used to work in English.
入学評価の簡単な説明
At CAISL, we do not conduct exams, interviews, or other assessments as part of the application process. The only exception may be an English Language Assessment for students entering High School, as we need to ensure that they are proficient and comfortable working in English.
As an international school, CAISL has students entering and leaving at all points during the school year. Therefore, CAISL has “rolling admissions” which means that students can be accepted and can enter at any point in the school year. Ideally, for ease of academic and social transition, entry at the beginning of an academic “quarter” or the “semester” is ideal but not required.

Classes in Early Childhood 3, 4, and 5 year olds are usually limited to 20. Early childhood classes have two classroom teachers, one native English speaker and one native Portuguese speaker. In Grades 1 through 12, class sizes are also usually limited to 20, but some classes are significantly smaller, depending on the subject taught and the needs of the children.
授業でのICT活用
Technology is widely used to support and enhance learning. Each student in Grades 6 through 12 became eligible to check-out a school laptop for his/her use during the year; Grades 1 through 5 had laptops assigned on a 1:1 ratio for student use at school.
オンライン授業への対応(休校時など)
We used to have it during Covid, but currently all classes are presential.
学校での宗教活動の有無と内容
CAISL is a non-sectarian school and students and teachers come from many different countries and ethnic ancestries, races, and religions. The school community will go beyond tolerance to treasure differences and look upon them as an opportunity for learning which will enrich each individual and promote personal growth. Students will be taught about religion as part of their studies of art, music, literature, history, social studies, and other academic disciplines where religious influences are apparent.
