Yes, children transferring from other schools are required to submit their school reports. Depending on the grade level, language proficiency tests might be required to assess if the student needs extra assistance or to determine the appropriate class placement.

Particularly for boarding, students are invited to an interview with the Boarding House Director.

At Collège Champittet, students benefit from the latest technology and teaching approaches. In 2010, we made iPads available to Primary School classes, and MacBooks were introduced into Secondary School classes. Now all students and teachers in grades 4 to 14 have their own personal iPad to help them learn, collaborate and carry out projects.

We offer more than 40 extracurricular activities suitable for all ages and interests. From sports (dance, football, skiing, stand up paddle, sailing, fencing, basketball, tennis, boxing, etc.), to entrepreneurship, IT coding, drama, gardening, music, etc.

Yes, as part of the Nord Anglia Education group, our school participates in international championships organized by the group, including volleyball and basketball. Our teams also participate in local inter-school tournaments in football, basketball, and volleyball.

We provide French and English classes for students who require additional support to keep up with academic programs in either of these languages. Our school is bilingual French-English. Students can also study German at an advanced level, as well as Spanish, Italian, Mandarin and Russian.

The school has a psychologist on campus. If the school detects a student with special needs, difficulties (eg. dyslexia, dysorthographia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, attention deficit disorder, depression, hyperactivity, etc), the parents will be invited to contact a specialist for testing. If the diagnosis is not made in a reasonable time, the school reserves the right to act in accordance with child protection laws.
