1:9 Our school is committed to providing an optimal learning environment with a small class size. With an average class size of around 25 students, we maintain a teacher to student ratio of 1:9. This allows us to ensure that each student receives ample individual attention and instruction.

CSS is situated in a modern and purpose-designed campus, offering a picturesque view of Tseung Kwan O's EcoPark and the sea. The school is conveniently located just 5 minutes away from Hang Hau MTR station. As a BYOD school, CSS provides campus-wide Wi-Fi for teachers and students to support innovative teaching and inquiry-based learning. Within the campus, CSS boasts well-equipped facilities to cater to various subjects and activities. There are 7 science laboratories, 4 Visual Art studios, a STEAM Education Suite, a CLACH Room, a Food Technology Centre, and a Design Technology Centre. These specialized facilities accommodate science, art, technology, and STEAM projects effectively. For Performing Arts, CSS offers a black-box drama studio, a Music Centre with acoustic and digital instruments, and multi-purpose rooms for dance and other activities. The school hall is designed for assemblies, performances, and events, while a second hall supports PE teaching and other needs. The campus includes a spacious canteen offering a variety of food choices for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Additionally, CSS has two roof gardens, an Astroturf multipurpose ball court, and a well-stocked library overlooking the EcoPark, Tseung Kwan O, and Victoria Harbour. Students with specific challenges in English are offered focused learning support individually or in small groups. Likewise, additional support for 2nd language Chinese students is also offered.

English serves as the primary medium of instruction at CSS, offering students a globally applicable education. In addition to English, junior students learn Chinese in Putonghua and senior students learn Chinese in Cantonese. Furthermore, our school provides a diverse language learning environment, allowing students to immerse themselves in the study of Spanish.

Learning Support is available for students with identified additional needs from MY1 / F1 to F6. At CSS we have an inclusive learning ethos. We have a Learning Support Department which includes a SEN Coordinator (SENCo), learning support teachers, an educational psychologist and speech therapists to work with teachers to help support students with challenges they may have accessing the curriculum, such as: ​ Concentration issue in class Collaboration issue with peers Having specific literacy difficulties or other challenges The range and type of support varies and is considered on an individual basis. This include: School-based educational psychological services, School-based speech services, Support groups, Individual academic counselling sessions, Additional explicit teaching and co-teaching with subject teachers. We think that age-appropriate development in language is critically important for accessing the curriculum leading to academic success.
