No french speaking students have to take a level exam before enrolling the school, from 1rst grade.

It is a global test (language, vocabulary and grammar, mathematics), in spanish, evaluating the average level of the student.

Yes, in preschool (up to K5). From 1rst grade, students who don't speak french are not allowed to join an academic year that has already started.

School starts at 7.30 am.

Preschool and primary school end at 2 pm. Secondary school ends between 3 and 4 pm.

We provide a supervised care after school, from 2 to 5 pm.

Students use tablets and computers for technology related activities. They also learn through workshops (robotics, coding, etc.).

The Lycée français international de Panama is offering virtual classes in times of emergencies. We are using Google Classroom for sharing content and homework. We also are using Zoom and Google Meets for virtual classes.

We offer extracurricular activities: - for Kinder and primary school students, from 2 to 3 pm : basketball, soccer, danse, chess, robotics, flamenco, taekwondo, etc. - for secondary school students: we have a sports association with activities after school.

The Lycée have a library, 2 science labs.

We have two gymnasiums and sports field. Our students also go to the swimming pool.

Our school supports children with different special learning needs.

We implement a special support program for each student with special needs. Our counselor works with the teachers, nurse and family on a special program for the students depending on each specific case.

We have special programs for gifted, able and talented students: - students can participate in the programs of our network, the AEFE (www.aefe.fr). Each year, for example, we participate in an international debate contest: "Ambassadeurs en Herbe". The selected students participate in a regional debate contest with the other schools of our network. The winners participate in a big international finale in Paris. - Our network, the AEFE, also grants college scolarships (Bourse Excellence Major) to the best students of the french education network.
