Yes. SIS conducts a basic evaluation for all new applicants to understand their academic level and language ability.
入学評価の簡単な説明
The evaluation is simple and age-appropriate:
Interview with the student and parents
Basic academic check (English, Math, and Japanese level depending on grade)
Behavior and readiness observation for younger students
Review of previous school records, if available
This evaluation helps us place the student in the correct grade and plan any needed support.

Yes. When a grade reaches its maximum capacity, applicants are placed on a waiting list and contacted as soon as a seat becomes available.
入学願書の締め切り（新学年）
SIS follows rolling admissions, but priority registration for the new academic year ends on March 31. After that, applications are accepted only if seats remain.
学年開始後の入学受け入れ
Yes. Students may join during the school year as long as there is space available and the evaluation shows that they can smoothly adjust to the class.
