含まれるスポーツ活動
Each year group has PE once a week and will experience lessons based on fundamental movement and skills in lower school, and more individual based sports including gymnastics (vaulting and floor disciplines), fitness and athletics in upper school. In gymnastics, pupils develop skills in balancing, rolling, jumping and shape work. Once confident in these areas, they progress to gymnastic vaulting. In fitness lessons pupils begin to learn about different methods of training, the effects of exercise on the body and the benefits of exercise.
Pupils are taught track and field disciplines in Year 3 on wards, where they develop and gain understanding of correct running techniques as well as power-based movements in throwing and jumping. We pride ourselves on our pupils' excellent all-round fitness and strength.

学習サポートの内容
In core subjects, each year group is split into smaller learning groups to ensure that children learn at the right pace for them. We aim to teach children according to their unique learning behaviours, rather than expecting them to adapt to a single prescribed teaching method. Work is differentiated to help each child fulfil their potential.
Progress is carefully tracked and if any child is struggling, they are assessed within school and appropriate strategies and interventions are implemented. All children with special educational needs make good progress in this flexible, creative environment where staff are committed to supporting each child.
才能ある生徒へのサポートプログラム

47% of children at The Roche School have achieved the Higher Standard in English versus the National Average of 25%.
教育心理士へのアクセス
If needed, we can refer pupils to an educational psychologist. If a child has an external assessment from an educational psychologist, speech therapist or occupational therapist, relevant staff meet with the parents to discuss the findings in the report. Appropriate strategies or interventions are then put in place.
