We usually invite students to spend a couple of hours in the class before taking further steps in the admission process.

Although we don't usually have waiting list we strongly suggest to book your seat as soon as possible, as classes may fill up very quickly.

The total number of our students usually fluctuates around 200. As we are a school for expats this number may vary upon the time as they are coming and going to/from the country for their work assignments.

Children can choose from a range of extracurricular activities, including artistic expression, music, sports, swimming, drama, , dance, ICT coding and programming, etc.

The school offers a wide variety of activities like Basketball, Swimming, Baseball, Gymnastics, Dance, Cricket, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton, Football, etc.

We also believe in exposure to competition and we also create opportunities where we put an emphasis on performance, skill level and healthy competition. We do this in our training sessions for our School Sport teams and competitions we hold against other schools. Our School sports are Football, Basketball, Swimming, Badminton and Cricket.

The campus has a small gym equipped for Pre-school activities. Moreover, for all our sports and PE lessons, we use the excellent facilities at the Aartselaar Sports centre. These facilities include an indoor Swimming pool, a large indoor sports hall, an indoor dance hall, an athletics track, a grass football pitch and an artificial grass pitch.

Not necessarily. ISBe teachers are passionate, dedicated, highly qualified and come from all over the world, including English speaking countries, but not exclusively.

Yes, we have an English as a Second Language (ESL) programme to help students who are not fluent in English to keep up with their classes.

The school has a student services team that works with teachers, parents, students and external agencies to ensure the best possible learning opportunities and outcomes for each child. Learning programmes are differentiated for varying abilities and teachers adopt a range of strategies to cater for individual needs in the areas of EAL, Learning support, Gifted and Talented; and Special needs.

The style of support program is determined by the needs of individuals. This may require students to work individually or in small groups with support staff in or outside of the classroom. As an inclusive school, ISBe admits students with mild learning difficulties and English language acquisition challenges. Based on our available facilities and resources, we strive to deliver support services while maintaining the integrity of our learning programme. Where necessary, external agencies are accessed to facilitate in depth assessments, in order to identify underlying issues and recommend strategies for support.
