Students work with IPads since they are 2 years old and work with their own personal device (Chromebook) from 3rd grade. Secondary and Baccalaureate students use their own computers. AIS pays special attention to incorporating practical classes related to programming, robotics, mobile apps, and 3D printing.

Yes, our teachers implemented virtual classes since the first day of Covid-19 quarantine in March 2020. From that moment on virtual classes is a standard practice among the regular class activities developed by the teachers, for those students that are confined due to Covid-19. AIS is a Google Reference School so teachers and students use Google environment tools on a daily basis.

Families may choose to send their children to attend Catholic religion classes or Values.

Non-religious students or the ones belonging to different religious denominations attend classes with a syllabus based on the study of universal values.

Spanish, English, Irish, and several eastern European countries.

Alameda International School offers many extracurricular activities both in the academic (culture, languages, music) and sports fields

The curriculum of our school has three mandatory weekly periods dedicated to Sports and Physical Education.

Alameda International School has a Library, Theater, Laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), Computer and 3D printing classroom, Art classrooms, video studio with chromakey, and specific classrooms for the elementary music conservatory.

More than15 sports disciplines including: football, basketball, roller hockey, swimming club, modern dance, volleyball, paddle tennis or rhythmic gymnastics.

Alameda International School has a department of specialists in pedagogy, psychology, and speech therapy to attend to those students with special needs. These needs can be cognitive or affective related. The aforementioned Guidance Department is responsible not only for detecting and meeting these needs but also for offering teachers guidance and support on how to attend to their students.

Gifted and talented students receive the same attention and support from the Guidance Department and their teachers as any other student with special needs.
