Kindergarten - G6: 16:35 (Wednesdays 13:00) G7 - G12: 16:35 (Tuesdays 13:00 of 14:00)

The school offers care from 8:00 till 9:20 and from 16:35 till 18:00.

The school is located right next to Metro Station "Plaza Molina / Sant Gervasi". There is no service provided by the school. Parents have organised a school bus service from Poble Nou in Barcelona, passing through the center, up to Plaza Molina.

Yes, the lunch is prepared and cooked at ESB based on mostly ecological ingredients. 90% of students eat lunch at school.

School Kitchen observes all needs due to allergies and offers a vegetarian option.

No uniform ist required. In Switzerland, students do not use uniform.

At ESB we have a few German speaking teaching assistants to help with language skills.

Teachers show content via computer, projector and loudspeakers. They also use chalk board at the same time. Students starting 3rd grade primary and upwards, work with iPads for many activities.

In case of quarantines, the school switches to online video conferencing. Students receive work via a popular LMS and connect with their teachers via video conferencing.

ESB offers many clubs and activities. We even offer German courses for the parents of our students. Also individual music classes (piano, violin, guitar, percussion and voice building)

Physical education usually accounts for 3 lecture hours per week. G6 -G12 takes the bus to external sport grounds once a week.

The extra-curricular sports teams participate in the Barcelona city school league CEEB with "futbol sala" and "volleyball".

Sports facilities are limited since the school is located very centric in town.

German is the basic language. Then Spanish, Catalan, English and French are added.

The school employs a psychologist and an educational psychologist in Kindergarten / Earl primary. They help to detect issues and assess solutions together with the parents.

No specialized programs are offered by the school. ESB has a regulation that takes into account dislexia and similar difficulties and supports the students.

The teachers at ESB are used to work with a wide bandwidth of knowledge within a group. Therefore, they can support more talented students within the group. No special or separate classes are offered.
