All classroom teachers are Apple Teachers and Google Certified Educators, and every classroom is equipped with Apple TV to enhance instruction and share student learning.

Yes, absolutely. Due to the integration of technology in the classroom prior to the pandemic, it was as smooth of a transition as possible into the pandemic. Although we are pleased to be back to face-to-face classes, we are able to maintain and encourage appropiate use of technology integration, when it enhances learning and provides flexibility.

Due to the international culture of OIS, we have students who practice a variety of religions including Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism.

OIS has no religious requirements, and students of all faiths or no religious background are welcome. Students who choose to practice their religion at school may do so independently. As an international school, we encourage students to share the cultural and religious significance of holidays as they arise, fostering respect, understanding, and appreciation for diversity within the classroom and the wider world.

We have an incredible gymnasium that includes badminton, basketball, and volleyball courts, a CrossFit gym, and a soccer and rugby field. We partner with a pool that's a 7 minute shuttle for our swimming classes and swim team practice.

Elementary students in the Social Emotional Learning Support Program participate in "Social Scholars" classes, focusing on developing social skills, effective communication, and calm down strategies. Overall, Learning Support at OIS aims to equip students with the skills and support they need to succeed academically and socially.
