At YCA, we have a Learning Diversity Team. The team offers support to the staff, including sharing resources and ideas as well as monitoring students who experience difficulties and challenges. We also offer a voluntary paid service for students who would benefit from additional support in or out of class.

YCA utilizes a differentiated curriculum that responds to the educational needs of each child. The International Primary Curriculum (IPC), which is used at the school, encourages and enables students to utilise their varying learning styles and provides plentiful opportunity for children’s special abilities to be enhanced and developed. Students who are identified as having a special ability are appropriately extended within the classroom programme. In addition, Island CA organizes various extension activities during lunchtime and after school as part of education outside of the classroom (EOTC).
