Liberté considers that expecting a child to perform above their abilities is not in the child’s best interest. Prospective learners are expected to meet the specific demands of the curriculum, stage or grade to which admission is sought. Prospective learners must have attained the required level of performance for entry into the School. Preference will be given to children with the highest academic potential and acceptable disciplinary and general behaviour records. This will be assessed during the admissions using the School’s assessment guidelines per age category or via proof of previous education. No applicant shall be admitted without having undergone an assessment. Assessments do not apply to children younger than four years of age.

At Liberté, we view each child as a unique individual with unique learning styles, strengths, and sometimes areas that can be considered challenges. We believe that children with mild learning or physical challenges can develop and learn effectively in an environment like ours designed for individual differences. However, the school does not cater for special needs education.
