Yes, the school provides students with a healthy snack in the mornings and lunch. The school has selection of Asian, International and Vegetarian food for lunch. Rice, a salad bar and a fruit selection is served daily.

The school also takes great care with children who have severe allergies and make sure that canteen staff and class teachers are aware of such cases. The food served in school is Halal, and we also provide Jain food - catering to children with a special diet required.

Class sizes are kept small to benefit the child's learning environment. The maximum number of children is 15 to 20 per class. In Nursery, the school has two teachers, two assistants and two nannies for this year group, and a maximum of 18 per class in Kindergarten and maximum of 20 children from Reception to Year Six. From Kindergarten to Year 3 each class has one class teacher and one teacher assistant.

Classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and students receive dedicated iPad and computer time once or twice a week depending on their age from age 5-11 years old.

The school offers a wide range of after-school clubs to our students to choose from - we have 80+ activities in a week. A list goes out at the beginning of each term for club registrations. Activities vary from sports, arts and crafts, music and languages - that are age suitable and age appropriate for children.

PE instruction is sequential and planned to develop and improve performance skills, to impart knowledge and concepts relevant to the activity, to introduce information concerning the fitness and health benefits of regular exercise and to help students develop and maintain physical fitness. Activities are rotated throughout each term and include: Football, Swimming, Basketball and Athletics.

The teams compete within the country.

All teachers are English native speakers with exception of the Thai, French and Mandarin language teachers who are Thai, French and Chinese, respectively.

English as an Additional Language is offered to children that need support with English Language. Limited spaces are available for this programme. Please contact the school as soon as you have received your place should you require support.

Mandarin, French and Thai. Mandarin is also offered as an ECA (extra curricular activity).

Learning Support Provision at St. Andrews International School, Sathorn is personalised for each child, using an ‘Assess, Plan, Do, Review’ response method to meet each child’s unique and diverse needs. Students, parents, school staff and if relevant, any external therapists meet regularly to set challenging goals and work together as a team to ensure they are accomplished.
