Yes, each student is assessed before joining the school.
入学評価の簡単な説明
The students have a sit down exam administered by the school. The exam evaluation relates to the grade they are intending to join. An online follow up interview is done with the teacher and the parents and a recommendation letter from the previous school with the child records is required.

Student are eligible to enroll at the beginning of a new academic year. Deadline for registration will vary from time to time.
