Pre-EY to Reception : If the child is to enter Pre-EY, Nursery or Reception this interview is kept very informal and the child’s learning will be observed through a play - based observation with the Head of Pre-Prep and/or a class teacher. Y1-2: Children entering Y1–Y2 will undertake assessment tasks with a teacher. The interview will be kept very informal. Children are also invited to spend a morning with their chronological age class where assessments regarding attitude, behaviour etc. can be made. Y3-9: Children entering Y3–Y9 will undertake an age-appropriate standadised assessment. ESL assessment for children whose 1st language is not English. Family interview with Vice Principal.
