📝 Living with the Climate
Toyosu's waterfront position on Tokyo Bay creates a distinct microclimate. Sea breezes from the bay provide meaningful cooling in summer, making this one of Tokyo's more bearable waterfront districts during the July–August heat. However, the reclaimed-land position means strong winds off the bay in winter, and the absence of surrounding buildings for shelter can make exposed waterfront areas cold from December to February. Fog occasionally rolls in from Tokyo Bay in autumn mornings.
